Terms and Conditions
RESERVATIONS: Stay starts from one night. Credit cards are needed to secure a reservation. Your card will not be charged prior to arrival but used to guarantee your reservation. However the credit card will be charged if you do not arrive at the property without advising of a cancellation. Full rental payment will be taken on arrival. We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club), cash and travellers cheques in GB Sterling. An Extra £20 is payable for the third person in the studio apartment only (over 5 years old).
BOOKING: Guests may book in advance or on arrival. Rooms are subject to availability and the Company reserves the right to refuse any Booking for good reason. Full payment is required on arrival however, there may be occasions when the Guests are required to fully prepay or provide a deposit at the time of the Booking
PAYMENT: You will be asked to provide a credit card (or debit card) at the time of the Booking to secure your reservation. Where a deposit or full payment is required in advance; by Booking you are authorising the debiting of the card provided. We accept the following methods of payment:
Credit Cards: American Express, MasterCard / Diners International, Diners Club, Visa Debit Cards: Visa / Delta and Visa / Electron. Full payment for stay will be charged on arrival. The Guest must pay all outstanding charges on departure from the Hotel. Please note a pre-authorization on a credit or debit card will be taken upon arrival for any extras. £25.00 per night, maximum of £100. Presidential Apartments reserve the right to preauthorise the whole amount a week prior arrival.
CANCELLATIONS / NON-ARRIVAL: Presidential Serviced Apartments need to be advised 48 Hours prior to arrival of any cancellations for there not to be a charge incurred. If the booking is non refundable, the booking cannot be cancelled or amended and full amount of the booking is applicable as late cancellation or no show fee.
If the booking is booked with a standard rate and is cancelled or modified more than 48 hours prior arrival, no cancellation fee is applicable. If the booking is cancelled or modified less than 48 hours prior arrival date, full amount of the booking is applicable as late cancellation fee. No shows will be charged the full amount of the original booking.
If booked 15 nights and more following cancellation applies: Deposit 30% of the total amount at the time of booking, non refundable 70% remaining balance to be paid 14 days prior arrival Rest, If cancelled 14 days prior arrival or more, only deposit is applicable as late cancellation fee. If cancelled after, full amount of the booking is applicable as late cancellation/ no show fee.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES: Check Out - 11am Check in - 2pm Additional hours - if available - will be charged on a half-day basis.
LOSS OR DAMAGE: The Management cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to guests’ personal effects or luggage, howsoever caused. Guests should ensure their Travel Insurance covers all such risks.
DAMAGE BOND: The Management reserves the right to require a bond against damage or breakage, in certain cases. (Usually where children or young adults are in the party.) This would normally be refunded on the day of departure, after inspection of the apartment.
NOTE: At check-in, guests are required to present the credit card used to make the reservation. A security deposit of GBP 25 per night will be charged on arrival, up to a maximum of GBP 100. This is returned to the guest upon check-out. Kensington serviced apartment reserve the right to pre-authorize credit cards a week prior to arrival. The photos shown on our website are for reference only as the studios vary in size and shape. However we will do our utmost to accommodate you in the best available room at the time of your booking.
